The Big Smoke 24 hour is a demanding experience that will push you to your limits. On your journey within, you'll learn your mental habits, build your resilience, and raise the bar on what you are able to deal with in the future.
You will be exposed to physically and mentally draining activities throughout the Perth metropolitan area. This coupled with self reflection exercises, team challenges and fatigue will force you to grow into a stronger version of yourself.

As The Big Smoke 24 is a highly demanding experience significant preparation is required in order to have the chance to finish. Below is a recommended 4 week program that should be completed as a minimum to be ready.
Week 1
Monday: 5km & 5kg weighted walk
Tuesday: 5km run below 7min per km & Stretch
Wednesday: 5km & 5kg weighted walk
Thursday: 5km run below 7min per km & Stretch
Friday: 5km & 5kg weighted walk
Saturday: 10km & 5kg weighted walk
Sunday: Stretch
Week 2
Monday: 5km run below 6min per km & Stretch
Tuesday: 10km & 10kg weighted walk
Wednesday: 5km run below 6min per km & Stretch
Thursday: 10km & 10kg weighted walk
Friday: 5km run below 6min per km & Stretch
Saturday: 20km & 10kg weighted walk

Monday: 10km & 10kg weighted walk
